House of Idlies, in Bazullah Road is definitely one of my favorite places for vegetarian South-Indian food: Love some of their unique dishes which no other veg restaurant in the city serves, like Morkali, crispy seppankizhangu Fry, Javvarisi vadaam mor, and so on. Thayirsaadham Thiruvizha - Poster: When i saw their poster on 'Thayirsaadham Thiruvizha', the humble thayir sadham served with ten different accompaniments, I was quite excited! I generally love curd rice, and what better comfort food than curd rice, during Summers! Ordered one 'Thayirsaadham Thiruvizha' curd rice, and the first appearance took me a little by surprise as the quantity of the curd rice looked less than what i had anticipated. Most excited food tasting at Bhangra, ECR! Had a lovely tummy filling food: One of the finest Punjabi restaurants in the city for a reason! Amazing food and even more amazing hospitality! That's Bhangra for you! Located bang on ECR, just outside Mayajaal complex, the place serves lip-smacking Punjabi fare, from the heart! When the owner is there, you hardly feel like dining at a restaurant. Such is the warmth and love you experience here! Was here with a family, we decided to try the Bhangra Sher Veg Thaali. This is available only on weekdays and it is meant for two eaters, we decided to share it. When it arrived, it was visually very impressive!
