Cream Centre, R A Puram, Chennai: Had a decent Vegetarian food! Just you go for Chat and Ice Creams:

Over the years, Cream Centre has always been synonymous with vegetarian upscale dining. 

A nice elaborate menu with options ranging from chat to momos to sizzlers to pizza or even pasta.

I have been here a few times, but many years ago. I remember the food to be very tasty.

We ordered:

Veg Manchow Soup, one by two

Pani Puri 

Original Paneer Tikka 

Cheesy Nachos

American Corn Cheese Balls

New York New York pizza

Mac n Three Cheese

Bhatura and Channa Masala 

Orange ice cream Soda

Chaach 

Soup was good, but the crispy noodles could have been fresh. Pani puri was fantastic, we loved it! 

Paneer Tikka should have been in the Tandoor for a little longer, hardly any smoky aroma as in a Tikka. The mint chutney lacked punch and didn't do anything to elevate the taste either. Cheesy Nachos was good, but felt too pricey for what was offered, Cheese balls were just passable. Overall, the starters didn't do much to tickle your taste buds except for Pani Puri and Nachos.

Coming to the main course, Chole Bhature was good, but too much Chole for a Bhatura.The Bhature was decent, but lacked the wow factor. Sree Gupta Bhavan's Chole Bhature would beat this hands down.  The thin crust Pizza was almost a crispy biscuit. It cracked on each bite making it difficult to eat, the cheese toping was good though. Mac and three Cheese again didn't quite taste like the Mac n Cheese, was more like a white sauce pasta. Overall decent, but not wow!

Ice cream Soda and chaach were excellent. 

Overall, it was a good place for Chat and Ice Creams.

Welcome, to yet another Food review in Tastes of TamilNadu. Woah! Such a authentic delicious food, so good to write about, Hotel Mangalam in Krishnagiri.. When you are in Krishnagiri or travelling near by and you need to consider eating in an authentic place, you need to try in Hotel Mangalam! They provide irresistible tasty foods. They are most famous for their Seeraga Samba Briyani which is prepared in Ambur Briyani Style. Briyani is soaked with so much meat flavours and ghee. All the parottas were freshly served. The place is small to look at but when you go inside, you can see almost 100 people sitting in.. they expanded the hotel room by room and we got a chance to sit AC room, which was very refreshing to have food at. One Liner, i loved it totally! A fantastic satisfying Sunday lunch at Thahira Hotel, Kanchipuram! Being a Sunday, and Pongal festival round the corner, the town was just chaotic! Traffic all over. We struggled to drive, forget parking! A huge crowd waiting to be seated. Biryani parcelled in Mandaral Ilai was disappearing at lightning speed! Amidst all this chaos, we patiently waited to be seated on the first floor. We got a table in about 15 minutes.
